The Association for Training on Trauma and Attachment in Children is an organization that operates as a wonderful support network for parents of children with attachment or trauma difficulties. They also operate fantastic training and seminars for therapists. 

Community Therapeutic Day School is based in Lexington Massachusetts. It is a therapeutic school for children aged 3-12, and they also operate an inclusion program that sees individuals, runs groups, and provides free diagnostic consultations. 

The Evergreen Psychotherapy Center is based in Evergreen Colorado. They work with individuals, families, and couples that have been affected by attachment and adoption. The organization has an excellent resource list and information for parents.

Dr. Daniel Seigel is a contemporary psychiatrist and writer who wrote this book to help parents manage the difficulties of their children in a more holistic way. He discusses tools and tricks and gives a different perspective on how the brain of a child operates. 

The Body Keeps The Score

This book is written by a leading doctor in the field of trauma and discusses how diagnosing and treating trauma has evolved. He spends time talking about how trauma affects not only the brain, but the body and mind as well.
